Lee Andrews & the Hearts was a doo-wop quintet from Philadelphia, formed in 1953. The group consisted of Lee Andrews (lead), Roy Calhoun (1st tenor), Thomas "Butch" Curry (2nd tenor), Ted Weems (baritone) and Wendell Calhoun (bass). They recorded for labels including Gotham, Rainbow, Mainline, Chess, and had charting hits with the singles "Long Lonely Nights" (1957), "Tear Drops" (1958) and "Try the Impossible" (1958).
