Biography

This US group was founded in 1981 in Tucson, Arizona, by Van Christian (guitar, vocals), formerly of the Serfers. David Seger (guitar, vocals; ex-Giant Sandworms), Richard Badenious (bass) and Sam Blake (drums) completed the line-up featured on the unit’s mini-album debut. The set was produced by ex-Serfer Dan Stuart, guitarist in Green On Red, but although comparisons were naturally drawn between the two, Naked Prey offered a louder, heavier sound.
