Miss Garland can act almost as well as she can sing, and she is expertly supported by Dirk Bogarde as her exlover and Gregory Phillips as their son. Full Review

Description by OLDIES.com:

When celebrated singer Jenny Bowman (Judy Garland) asks her ex-lover David (Dirk Bogarde) to let her see their son, Matt, she is unprepared for the emotional consequences. Though Matt doesn't even know Jenny is his mother, their growing bond will force Jenny to make the most difficult choice of her life: between the rewards of motherhood and the glamorous life of the stage.

Although previously issued on DVD, this release is newly remastered from a new Cinema Scope master.

Product Description:

In Judy Garland's last screen appearance, she plays Jenny Bowman, a famous American singer who has come to London for a series of concerts. She visits her former lover, a doctor, on the pretext of a sore throat, but her real motive is to see the son they had together and whom she has never seen.
