Encyclopedia of Doo Wop, V. 2 Music Lover: from REDONDO BEACH, CA US -- January, 29, 2013

Thank you for making this wonderful set available! I was in my 30's when I discovered doo wops. Now at 60 I love them more than ever. The great talents here - Cleftones, Channels, Chimes, Bop Chords. to name a few. Now that I collect them it is so much fun! I was born in the early 50's and grew up loving harmony. My older sister and I enjoyed Fleetwoods, Dion and many others that had good harmony. We listened to many great songs through the 60's, etc.
I only heard a sample of doo wops as a kid. Now I am discovering "new" singers and titles I have never heard before. What makes doo wop extra special is not just their great voices, but the wonderful backgrounds they had. They really put themselves into the music and I for one am among their numerous fans today.
