Rating: 8/10 -- Inside Out should be required viewing for the parents of pre-teens, just as those embarrassing "What's Happening To Me?" books are must-reads for growing minds and bodies. Full Review

[T]he writing is intelligent and clever, filled with witticisms and tongue-in-cheek double entendres...Combining story and visuals, there are more than enough elements of wackiness to keep a perpetual smile on your face. Full Review

5 stars out of 5 -- INSIDE OUT deserves applause for bringing such a dazzling original concept to our screens...

Rating: 4/4 -- Inside Out's brainy script is matched both by its visual splendor, often invoking the spirit of Miyazaki, and its humanist reach, which extends to both family and (imaginary) friend alike. Full Review

4 stars out of 4 -- INSIDE OUT, a comedy-adventure set inside the mind of an 11-year old girl, is the kind of classic that lingers in the mind after you've seen it, sparking personal associations...

[A] bold, gorgeous, sweet, funny, sometimes heartbreakingly sad, candy-colored adventure that deserves an Academy Award nomination for best picture.

Rating: 7/10 -- The usual brilliant animation by Pixar and great voice acting by the likes of Mindy Kaling, Lewis Black, and Diane Lane just make this unusual film that much better. Full Review

Product Description:

Emotions run wild in the mind of a little girl who is uprooted from her peaceful life in the Midwest and forced to move to San Francisco in this Pixar adventure from director Pete Docter (UP, MONSTERS INC.). Young Riley was perfectly content with her life when her father landed a new job in San Francisco, and the family moved across the country. Now, as Riley prepares to navigate a new city and attend a new school, her emotional headquarters becomes a hot bed of activity. As Joy (voice of Amy Poehler) attempts to keep Riley feeling happy and positive about the move, other emotions like Fear (voice of Bill Hader), Anger (voice of Lewis Black), Disgust (voice of Mindy Kaling) and Sadness (Phyllis Smith) make the transition a bit more complicated.
