Entertainment Reviews:
THE WALK puts us up there 1,360 feet above the ground so we can almost feel the swirling air, the tautness of the wire and the rush of exhilaration.
Rolling Stone
3 stars out of 5 -- Utilising 3D IMAX to its vertiginous limit, he puts you right up there with Petit during THE WALK's superior second hour, trembling alongside the man himself on a 450lb steel cable.
Total Film
Zemeckis has great fun manipulating the viewer's depth perception, especially once Petit steps out onto the highest of wires. Combined with the flawless, photorealistic CGI, he makes The Walk a completely immersive experience.

Memphis Flyer
[A] painstaking and dazzling cinematic re-creation of Mr. Petit’s feat...
New York Times

Empire
Rating: B --

Cinema Siren
Zemeckis is a gifted storyteller who has always embraced the technology available, and he delivers an exciting thrill ride that might have you burying your head in your hands or looking away from the screen if you’re not thrilled with heights.
