Description by OLDIES.com:

Gifted sculptor Ken Harrison is now a hospitalized quadriplegic. And no matter how much he makes light of his condition, another kind of light inside him grows dim. In this screen version of the hit play, Richard Dreyfuss plays Ken, jousting with physicians, teasing nurses and striving to persuade hospital authorities and the justice system that he can't be denied one of the few choices he has left.
