Entertainment Reviews:
Rating: 2/5 --
The real stars of the film are [Steve] Carell and [Tina] Fey for bringing such goofy conviction to this goofball comedy, much better than the director's previous attempts at broad humour in the two Night at the Museum films.

The Indian Express
3 stars out of 4 -- Steve Carell and Tina Fey play a nice, unassuming couple in DATE NIGHT, and that's one of the reasons the movie works so well.
Chicago Sun-Times
3 stars out of 5 -- Carell and co keep mining shards of comic brilliance and, even more unlikely, some disarming glints of emotion.

Rating: 2/5 --
For a film that doesn't even scrape the 90-minute mark, Date Night takes an awfully long time to end.

Date Night is a fun, romp in New York City that explores issues of everyday life while adding some romance and openness about marriage.

Sarah's Backstage Pass
Carell and Fey project an intellectual sharpness and an understanding of what's important in life -- and what's ridiculous....The leads provide their own excellent entertainment... -- Grade: B
Entertainment Weekly
3 stars out of 4 -- Regardless of the silliness of the situation -- or in truth, because of it -- they're a joy to watch.

Product Description:
This action comedy tells the tale of mild-mannered married couple Phil (Steve Carell) and Claire (Tina Fey), who fear their relationship may be falling into a stale rut. During their weekly date night, they impetuously steal a dinner reservation, which leads to a case of mistaken identity. Turns out the reservation was for a pair of thieves, and now a number of unsavory characters want Phil and Claire killed. If they can survive a wacky life-threatening night, they may just rediscover the passion missing from their marriage. Directed by Shawn Levy, the film co-stars Mark Wahlberg, James Franco, and Kristen Wiig.
