What's stuntman Sonny Hooper's reaction when he learns the record for a fall is 223 feet? "I'll go 224," he says. Burt Reynolds plays Hooper, at work on The Spy Who Laughed at Danger. His wife (Sally Field) hopes it's his last film. The new stunt team member (Jan-Michael Vincent) prods him to try a risky rocket-car leap. Sonny intends to have the last laugh.
