I have not seen the DVDs, but I remember the show quite well. I couldn't believe that such a funny show with such good-natured humor could have received such a meager rating from IMDb (2.4). I was right. The IMDb rating you quote is for a a movie by the same name released in the '90s. The TV show of the '60s received a 7.8 from IMDb respondents.
