Tucker and Dale is a surprisingly sweet movie, even when kids are chucking themselves into wood chippers or getting accidentally impaled on conveniently located sharp sticks. Full Review

Here's something you don't see every day: a genial, politically correct splatter comedy. Full Review

Rating: 3/4 -- [Tucker and Dale vs. Evil] is certainly part of the newly invigorated genre of horror-comedy -- and it's almost as good as Shaun of the Dead, though it can't top the recent alien invasion comedy Attack the Block. Full Review

3 stars out of 4 -- In a clever if sensationally implausible twist, the only vicious character is one of the college kids...one cliche after another is ticked off and upended.

Most importantly, though, it's a highly entertaining and fun little film where you might hiccup with laughter, feel your heart warming, and your stomach turning, all at the same time. Full Review

3 stars out of 5 -- Craig sets off a devilishly contrived series of mishaps resulting in gore and guffaws...

Rating: B- -- At its heart, it's really just a one-idea premise stretched out to feature length, but the lovable duo of Tudyk and Labine and an endearing layer of sweetness under all the blood make it a fully enjoyable comedy of (t)errors. Full Review

Product Description:

Director Eli Craig and co-screenwriter Morgan Jurgenson poke fun at horror clichés with this genre-bending comedy about a pair of harmless backwoods hayseeds who are mistaken for vicious serial killers. Dale (Tyler Labine) and Tucker (Alan Tudyk) are checking out their newly acquired "summer home" (read: dilapidated cabin) when they save the life of a gorgeous college student (Katrina Bowden) who's camping in the woods with some friends. When a series of misunderstandings leads to Dale and Tucker being labeled psycho killers by the vacationing students, the situation takes a sudden and ghastly turn for the worst.
