Recently, Swamp Dogg has been hailed as the Real Doggfather Of Funk by Spin Magazine, and has experienced a career resurgence with legions of fans rediscovering his highly original independently released albums. Presented here is a collection of Swamp Dogg produced Christmas ditties ranging from the humorous “An Awful Christmas And A Lousy New Year,” “You Lose, Mr. Scrooge,” “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town Via Compton,” to more traditional fare such as “White Christmas” and “Auld Lang Syne,” all performed Swamp Dogg style.
