The Beast Must Die is worth a look, as long as you enjoy unintentionally campy kitsch from the swinging 70s and werewolf myths.

4 stars out of 5 -- [The movie] adds a quirky, innovative spin to the Agatha Christie plot steals.
Uncut
Rating: 3/5 --
A good old-fashioned made-for-TV-style werewolf movie.

This B-movie werewolf tale from British horror studio Amicus was a blatant attempt to compete with their equally low-budget competitor AIP studios.

Description by OLDIES.com:
Wealthy big game hunter Tom Newcliffe (Calvin Lockhart) has tracked and killed nearly every kind of wild animal in the world. But one creature still evades him and it's the biggest game of all - a werewolf.
Tom invites five guests - Dr. Christopher Lundgren (Peter Cushing), Paul Foote (Tom Chadbon), Bennington (Charles Gray), Jan Jarmokowski (Michael Gambon) and Jan's girlfriend, Davina (Ciaran Madden) - to his island for the weekend, knowing they all have ties to grisly, unexplained murders...and that one of them is a werewolf! Added to this strange mix are Tom's attractive wife Caroline (Marlene Clark) and his surveillance expert, Pavel (Anton Diffring).
As Tom slowly goes insane in his pursuit of the werewolf, it escapes him every time! Yet, one by one, the beast begins to murder the isolated guests.

Product Description:
A rich sportsman invites eight guests to his house with the knowledge that one of them is a werewolf. He has devised a game of suspense wherein the guests must guess whom is the wolf. At the full moon, the game will end as the werewolf unwittingly reveals himself, and the others hunt him down to add his pelt to the sportsman's trophies. The film features a special "guess-who" sequence at the end, in which the viewer is given thirty seconds to decide "who done it."
