An instant holiday classic overflowing with the true spirit of Christmas that will bring as much joy on subsequent holiday viewings as it does the first time around.

Blizzard is the "annual fruitcake" of kid's Christmas movies: sticky, ugly, and entirely confusing ... as in "Who thought I'd actually enjoy this fruitcake?"

It will go down like gangbusters with the tykes, but I couldn't wait to empathically navigate myself out of the theatre.

The Santa story seems lifeless. The child's drama wrapped around it, however, is sweet, involving and is much more authentic.

Product Description:
Levar Burton, known for his roles on READING RAINBOW and STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION, delivers a sweet and instantly classic Christmas tale. When young Erin's (Brittany Bristow) best friend moves away, her Aunt Millie (Brenda Blethyn, LOVELY & AMAZING) comforts her with a story. A figure skater named Katie (Zoe Warner)--not unlike Erin herself--has trouble fitting in, but her friendship with Santa's new reindeer, Blizzard (voiced by Whoopi Goldberg, GIRL, INTERRUPTED), helps her gain the confidence she needs. Christopher Plummer shines as Santa Claus, while Kevin Pollack plays the villain, Archimedes.
