Based on Allan Berube's book COMING OUT UNDER FIRE: THE HISTORY OF GAY MEN AND WOMEN IN WORLD WAR II.

LICENSED TO KILL: Drawing on his own experiences, filmmaker Arthur Dong recovered from his own attack at the hands of rampant homophobes by making this film about murderers whose victims were members of the gay community. Interviewing seven murderers as they serve out their prison sentences, Dong garners some fascinating responses from his subjects.

FAMILY FUNDAMENTALS: Arthur Dong continues his exploratory series of documentaries into the gay community with FAMILY FUNDAMENTALS. Speaking to three families which contain at least one rejected gay member, Dong explores the difficulties faced by families when someone comes out of the closet.
