Product Description:

Gun running is a problem that has spread throughout the world, and has lead to arms falling into some dangerous hands across the globe. THE BROOKLYN CONNECTION is a documentary that follows an immigrant named Florin Krasniqi, who came from Kosovo to reside in Brooklyn, New York. Krasniqi began exporting guns to a guerrilla army in Kosovo named the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), at the tail end of the 1990s, after his cousin was slain in the war raging in his native country. Incredibly, Krasniqi raised $30 million, which he spent on the KLA by exploiting America's lax gun laws, which allowed him to ship weapons out to his army of fighters. Indeed, Krasniqi goes on to explain that America's weak stance on guns has helped provide many terrorist organizations across the globe with the weapons they need. A film that is fascinating, shocking, and alarming, THE BROOKLYN CONNECTION offers some disquieting truths on the highly dangerous activities one man is allowed to conduct in a perfectly legal fashion.
