Full Frame Documentary Shorts Collections, Volume 4

Set up to showcase some of the best documentary films from around the globe, the Full Frame film festival delivers around 100 movies per year to an expectant audience. The festival's reputation has brought some big-name directors on board to help judge the entries, including Jonathan Demme, Martin Scorsese, and Barbara Kopple. The short films are always a highlight, and this collection includes six of the best.

"Miles Above" is a film woven around amateur footage of the Columbia space shuttle explosion; "In the Shadow of Eden" chronicles the often violent upbringing of its director, Rachel Romero; "Good Morning Yokohama" documents the incredible hustle and bustle of rush hour in Yokohama; "Small Town Secrets" is a personal film about the director's experience of growing up with gay parents; "Cheeks" follows Joe Cheek, a musician born to paranoid schizophrenic parents; and finally, "Good Times" is about Israeli and Palestine locals who are divided by a wall in the town of Abu Dis.
