Entertainment Reviews:
... provides some scattered big laughs, although beneath the film's surface, the jabs at global celebrity, extravagance, and inequality aren't especially insightful - even if they're true.

Cinemalogue
Coogan’s characteristically scene-stealing performance is already nuanced and funny enough to land most of Winterbottom’s bold-faced talking points.

If you can't wait for the next season of "Succession," "Greed" should fill the rich-people-are-monstrous-idiots gap nicely.

"Greed" seems unsure of whether it's meant to be a comedy, a parody or a satire, and winds up whiffing on all three accounts.

Coogan brings his usual comic reliability to his characterization, as does Isla Fisher as the rich man’s predictably estranged wife, and they wring laughs from the material.

Product Description:
Richard McCreadie (Steve Coogan) is a billionaire who made his fortune by buying clothing stores and running them to the ground. For his 60th birthday celebration, he plans a five-day party at Mykonos, even adapting a ‘Gladiator' theme for it. However, with only days before the huge event, he discovers that the place is far from ready — the view is spoiled by Syrian refugees camping on the beach, bad press has caused celebrities to decline his invitation, and his man-made coliseum is still being constructed. Directed by Michael Winterbottom.
