Making a late appearance in the Iraq War movie cycle, the impressively acted THE YELLOW BIRDS manages to leave an affecting mark...
Los Angeles Times

The Yellow Birds doesn't say much of anything outside of the mundane. The trio of young men at its center are compelling enough, but the entire ordeal feels like a mash-up of countless other movies.

Product Description:
Two young soldiers are forced to endure the brutality and horror that war creates firsthand in this drama from director Alexandre Moors. Bartle (Alden Ehrenreich), who made a promise to protect his teenage friend Murph (Tye Sheridan) before departing for Iraq, looks to survive the fighting and grueling day-to-day conditions while also dealing with the stern, unforgiving Sergeant Sterling (Jack Huston), who is haunted by his own demons. Jennifer Aniston co-stars as Murph's mother, Maureen. Based on Iraq War vet Kevin Powers' 2012 novel.
