Lawman's third season sees Deputy Johnny McKay (Peter Brown) grow more seasoned thanks to the steely guidance offered by his mentor, Marshall Dan Troop (John Russell). Meanwhile, Marshall Troop faces distractions of his own -- in the person of the lovely Miss Lily (Peggie Castle). Miss Lily, in turn, has her hands full running her gambling hall, keeping Dan and Johnny clued in on criminals' intentions and dropping matrimonial hints on deaf ears. With the streets of Laramie filling up with killer kidnappers, cow-killing delinquents, teenage copycats and rustling romeos, it's a good thing the Lawman is on hand to keep things straight and narrow.
