The movie borrows so liberally from other action films that it starts to feel at times a bit like a BuzzFeed listicle.

The Expendables 3 is about having fun - both on and off screen. Hi-octane exhilaration. Has you breathless from beginning to end. Beyond Badass!

I'd confidently say The Expendables 3 is the best of the franchise, but that's like bragging about being the best player for a really [expletive] sports team.

Expendables 3 is no fun, with its muted colors and piles of grey rubble adding to the numbing effect of the nonsensical action.

For a variety of reasons, most having to do with a weak screenplay and poor pacing, The Expendables 3 is the least successful entry in the series.

Product Description:
Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone) and his band of aging mercenaries recruit a younger crew to battle the one man capable of exterminating the Expendables in this sequel directed by RED HILL's Patrick Hughes. When Barney and Conrad Stonebanks (Mel Gibson) co-founded the Expendables, they were positively unstoppable. Years later, Stonebanks abandoned the team to become a cutthroat arms dealer, and Barney was forced to kill the man he once called a brother. Little did Barney realize that Stonebanks survived, and has been biding his time for revenge ever since. Now the war has begun. Stonebanks is out for blood, and the only way Barney can defeat him is with the help of some tech-savvy new recruits. With Lee Christmas (Jason Statham) and the regular crew backed up by some fresh faces who value brains over brawn, the final battle begins. Wesley Snipes, Harrison Ford, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Ronda Rousey, Kellan Lutz, Victor Ortiz, and Kelsey Grammer co-star.
