Bart Allison (Randolph Scott) arrives in the town of Sundown seeking revenge for the murder of his wife by Tate Kimbrough (John Carroll). When Allison's partner (Noah Beery) gets shot in the back, the townspeople switch loyalties, joining Allison against Kimbrough. It leads to the two men standing in the middle of the street with guns in their holsters and blood in their eyes. Newly remastered.
