Product Description:

ENOCK Eric D. Blackmon is Enock born in Augusta, Georgia. He traveled extensively in his childhood years to New York, California and Europe. He began his interest in music as a youth in a large family of musicians while he developed a passion for percussion and guitar. After learning some technical playing moves on the drums from his uncle it didn't take Eric long to figure out that his special love and gift were the drums. He became one of the main snare drummers and percussionists of the Sand Bar Ferry Junior High School Marching Band. He later went on to Lucy Craft Laney High School Marching Band where he and his classmates became the first of their age group to march with an outstanding unit known as The Pride of Augusta. As a musician, Eric was inspired by the accomplishments of Prince and his array of talents on various instruments so much that he vowed to pick up other instruments to add to his musical arsenal. He acquired piano skills and vocal lessons while in California to strengthen his theoretical knowledge of music. Before learning the piano and keyboards Eric began writing poetry of which he later transposed into songs with the drums and the keyboards. While in Europe, Eric emerged onto his first record as a jazz drummer in the K-Town Jazz Band and won the role as the drummer for their theatrical stage coverage of "The Wiz". Eric received the Jazz Band Award for his outstanding achievements and attracted the interest of an accomplished musician, music producer, music teacher and jazz recording artist known as Big Mack.. Eric was offered the opportunity to play drums on his new jazz album to be released on a major European label. An interest into music production and recording sparked for Eric while working together with Big Mack. He then moved back to Augusta, Georgia to jump start his own production company and record label, Funky Stix Music Production and Funky Stix Records. Eric with fifteen years of business under his belt is a well rounded seasoned professional in all of his departments. After producing five underground releases on his label as a solo artist along with two groups, The FLO and WRATH, he decided to step back on to the music scene with a new vibe. He is now on his Forth debut release entitled 'Street Movement EP' on the Funky Stix label. This new release promises to provide a path to stardom and to open new ventures for Eric as he carves his way into an astonishing musical career. Ladies and gents it gives me great pleasure to introduce you to, the next big story of the hip-hop world, Enock. Monday, March 13, 2006.
