It's early in WWII, a wise-cracking reporter finds himself in Libya where a tribe of Arabs (financed and backed by Nazis of course) are ready to turn Noth Africa into flaming revolt. Will the reporter stop them? How did the British get an outpost in pre-War Libya? Does the beautiful girl ever stop smoking? What does the phrase "Razor Blades" signify? Was there ever a film made where Arabs were not the bad guys? To answer these questions, see this film. For a low budget quickie, it's pretty good.
Obviously on a low budget, this little PRC movie manages to provide a lot of solid entertainment thanks to its casting. Walter King plays the wise acre reporter with gusto, HB Warner bumbles around like an old goof, Parkakarkus (yes, that really was his name!) throws out some great lines and Joan Woodbury does her usual smoking job of keeping everybody's temperature rising. The plot is a bit predictable but fast moving and even the score is pretty good. All in all, a fun little movie.
