A deranged author of children's books struggles against his inner-demons as his perception of reality grows ever more distorted, and he loses the ability to distinguish right from wrong. A lifetime of pain and abuse has twisted Wade Mixon (Robert Picardo)'s psyche to the breaking point. Now, Wade's convinced he's become the target of a malevolent conspiracy. The deeper Wade falls into his paranoid delusions, the more dangerous he becomes to those who would never suspect that a monster could live in human skin.
