Secret Evidence

Assistant D.A. David Harrison loses his secretary but gains a wife when he asks Linda Wilson to be his bride. But a visit with his soon-to-be in-laws goes sour when Linda's former beau, jailbird Tony Baxter, appears unexpectedly. Tony wants Linda back and demands she come alone to his motel room. Linda's brother, Jerry, formerly a member of Baxter's gang, knows the trouble his sister is in. He goes to Baxter's cottage, planning to shoot him, but someone else beats him to it. Circumstantial evidence points to the innocent Jerry as the gunman, leading to his arrest. Now the reluctant Harrison is saddled with task of prosecuting the brother of the woman he loves.
