For a filmmaker with a reputation for humor, this film is not funny. It is all doom and gloom. It seems to me this film aged very quickly during the November 6, 2018 elections, which yielded a result at odds with Moore's overly pessimistic thesis.

[Moore] captures, with the queasy pull of a post-traumatic flashback, how it felt to so many of us, watching a worst-case scenario play out in real time. -- Grade: B-
