Rating: C+ -- Utterly predictable, but well acted, story of a big city doctor forced to reassess his value system after being stranded in a small town. Full Review
Rating: 3/5 -- A breezy but entertaining star vehicle for Michael J. Fox.
Flipside Movie Emporium
Rating: B- -- It works, with a hearty sense of character connection established, making the climax less about programmed theatrics and more about two smart, hesitant people finding comfort in an unlikely situation. Full Review
Rating: 3/4 -- Dialogue and plot and all the rest take second place to the conviction that two people only have eyes for one another. Fox and Warner create that feeling, which is why "Doc Hollywood" is a sweetheart of a movie. Full Review
Rating: 2/5 -- Dated '90s comedy has nudity, some language. Full Review
Common Sense Media
Rating: 3/5 -- While retaining his boyish appeal, Mr. Fox also seems a shade more substantial this time, possibly because he is seen making life-or-death decisions when not fielding comic lines.
New York Times
Rating: 4/5 -- A Hollywood look into small town America that, somehow, rings real.
