Description by OLDIES.com:
Homicidal maniac Steve Clark arrives in town on a bus and is hired as a cab driver. A drunken salesman tries to force himself on pretty Julie Saunders and Steve swoops in to save her. He showers the naive young girl with flattery and romance, and Julie quickly falls in love. A whirlwind marriage follows. But it is not long before her new husband reveals himself to be a sociopathic murderer. The terrified girl is certain that, if she talks to the police, Steve will kill her.
This rarely seen film noir features an excellent screenplay by Al Martin whose credits include Peck's Bad Boy At The Circus (1938), The Mad Doctor Of Market Street (1942) and Invasion Of The Saucer Men (1957) as well as extensive work for TV on shows such as "The Roy Rogers Show" (1951). Hugh Beaumont turns in a riveting performance as a cold blooded killer nine years before his portrayal of Ward Cleaver on the classic TV series "Leave It to Beaver."
