Entertainment Reviews:
Altogether, Manhattan Merry-Go-Round is the sort of film that seems to require a traffic officer more than it does a director. There's plenty of entertainment, however, for movie-goers who like their entertainment that way.

Description by OLDIES.com:
Leo Carrillo turns in a hilarious performance as mob boss Tony Gordoni who takes over a New York record company and proceeds to strong-arm singing stars into signing with the label.
Cab Calloway & His Cotton Club Orchestra provide one of the many highlights in a musical cavalcade that includes crooner Phil Regan, Ted Lewis and his orchestra and many others. Yankee baseball great Joe DiMaggio met his future wife Dorothy Arnold on the set. Female lead Ann Dvorak rose to fame in Howard Hughes' 1932 production of Scarface but contract disputes with her bosses at Warners' saw her relegated to "B" roles including Flame Of Barbary Coast (1945) and The Return Of Jesse James (1950).
