Mary Bradley stands to lose the family farm if her horse, Blue Streak, doesn't win the Kentucky Derby. Her brother, jockey Johnny, has been sent to prison on trumped-up charges by a crooked district attorney who intends to take ownership of the farm. An investigative reporter joins forces with Mary in a desperate attempt to clear her innocent brother, in time for the big race.
Leading man Edward Nugent had roles in 81 movies most notably 42nd Street (1933) and Ah, Wilderness! (1935). Poverty Row director Raymond K. Johnson (Suicide Squad, 1935) helmed numerous Monogram westerns, most notably all eight of those starring Jack Randall. The supporting cast includes Junior "Frank" Coghlan, best known for his role as Billy Batson in the 1941 serial Adventures Of Captain Marvel.
