Entertainment Reviews:
Description by OLDIES.com:
Beautiful Lila Lee stars in this long-lost motion picture from Tower Productions. Groomed by Paramount to replace their recalcitrant star, Gloria Swanson, Lee rose to prominence in films such as Blood And Sand (1922), Love, Live And Laugh (1929) and The Unholy Three (1930). Her son, actor/writer James Kirkwood, gained fame for writing one of Broadway's most successful musicals, A Chorus Line.

Movie Lovers' Ratings & Reviews:
Based on 47 ratings.
Lila Lee may have been the star and she may
have had an unusual role - that of a young
woman who runs a newspaper but apart from
an initial scene in which hard nosed Tully
Marshall as a rival newspaper owner tries to
buy her out, she tends to fade a bit into the
background.
The film really belongs to Walter Byron as a
hard drinking reporter who knows his business
and with not much help from Lee endeavours
to put the ailing paper back on it's feet. It also
tries to show the detrimental effect drinking
can have on a hard working reporter but as
with a lot of these fly-by-night studios the
message is lost in the so-so story. Mary
Doran has a much showier role as Marshall's
irresponsible daughter.
Look for Mary Kornman, "Our Gang" sweetheart
of the twenties as an upset society girl.
