Mesquite Buckaroo (1939, B&W): Aunt Sarah is so sure that her nephew, rodeo champ Bob Allen, is a shoe-in to repeat in this year's championship, that she literally bets the farm on him. Gangsters from the East see a fortune to be made betting against Bob. When the mobsters cannot bribe him to take a dive, they kidnap him. Bob must escape by morning or he will not only lose the championship, but his family will lose their ranch.

The Red Rope (1937, B&W): For three long years Outlaw "Rattler" Hayne has been ruling te territory with fear and intimidation. There is no man willing to risk his neck to stop him - until Rattler interferes with the wedding of Tom Shaw and Betty Duncan. Tom Shaw is marked for death, and must end Rattler's reign of terror without becoming a criminal himself.
