Description by OLDIES.com:

In four exciting action-packed adventures, Buffalo Bill, Jr., his feisty kid sister, Calamity, and their adoptive jack-of-all-trades father, Judge "Fair 'N' Square" Wiley, bring justice to the town of Wileyville, Texas in the late 1880s. Produced by Louis Gray and Gene Autry's Flying A Productions, "Buffalo Bill, Jr." ran on NBC TV from 1955-56, loosely mixing historical characters with rip-roaring western exploits. Star Dick Jones did his own spectacular stunts, from good old-fashioned fist fights to trick riding, usually on the first take, lending an air of authenticity to the breathless action!

The Jayhawker: A father is distressed when his young son begins to idolize a notorious gunman.

Kid Curry - Killer: A cold-blooded outlaw dynamites a train near Wileyville, killing and injuring scores of people during the robbery.

Kansas City Lady: An unhappy boy gives false testimony in an attempt to send his step-mother to prison.

Silver Mine Mystery: A crooked mine manager tries to murder one of his employees, in an attempt to cover-up his embezzlement.

Product Description:

As a creation of Gene Autry's Flying A Productions, produced under the aegis of Louis Gray, the adventure series BUFFALO BILL, JR. originally aired on NBC from 1955 through 1956. Set in the town of Wileyville, Texas during the 1880s, it starred Dick Jones as the title character, a young western hero and the son of a judge, Fair 'N' Square Wiley (Harry Cheshire). Also on hand was Bill's sister, Calamity (Nancy Gilbert), with whom he shared various adventures. This box set contains four of the programs as they were originally broadcast. KANSAS CITY LADY finds an unhappy boy perjuring himself in an effort to send his stepmother to prison; THE JAYHAWKER concerns a father who grows upset when his son begins to idolize an outlaw; KID CURRY - KILLER concerns a maniac who blows up a train just outside of Wileyville and injures countless civilians; and SILVER MINE MYSTERY tells the story of an unsavory mine manager who tries to cover up his embezzlement by murdering an employee.
