Danny DeVito is the right actor to play Larry the Liquidator. He doesn't have to say that he uses big piles of money to compensate for the lack of love in his life. We know. We can see it in Larry's eyes.

Surprisingly, the trademark roguish antics of diminutive devil DeVito is kept at a subdued level thanks to the lifeless corporate spunk in Jewison's mediocre material. It's not really all that fun spending a dime on Other People's Money
