Description by OLDIES.com:
Movie star Gloria Jordan boosts her sagging career by dating young prizefighter on-the-rise, Joe Flynn. Blue-collar Joe falls hard for the glamorous actress who basks in the publicity while he slugs his way to the top. The night before middle-weight title fight, disaster strikes. Joe takes a knockout punch when he discovers that Gloria is only in for the media coverage, and is two-timing him with her director!
Wallace Ford is beautifully supported by silent star Marguerite de La Mote and former Zeigfield beauty Kitty Kelly in this 1934 Trem Carr production. British-born character actor Wallace Ford is best known for his roles in B-movies including The Mysterious Mr. Wong (1934), The Ape Man (1943) and She Couldn't Say No (1954). In a busy career that would span over 200 films, he also appeared in some classic Hollywood productions most notably The Informer (1935), Of Mice And Men (1937), Spellbound (1945), Destry (1945) and A Patch Of Blue (1965).
