Hollywood legend Douglas Fairbanks, Jr. hosted, produced and often starred in this top drawer British anthology series which ran from 1953-1957. Although generally filmed in England, two of the episodes in this collection were filmed in Germany with all German actors. With capable directors and fine performances, the series ran the dramatic gamut from suspense through to comedy.

A NEW LIFE: A female doctor assigned to a remote medical facility in Malaya, is critical of the outdated methods being employed. She risks her career by treating a pregnant woman with serious complications, outside of the hospital. Stars Ron Randell, Renee Asherson; Directed by Arthur Crabtree.

DUNCE: After years abroad, a merchant seaman returns to the hometown where he was once ridiculed. His best friend has been murdered and he is determined to ferret out the killer. Stars Wolf Peterson, Gerhard Kittler; Directed by Arthur Crabtree.
