Swashbuckling film hero Tyrone Power stars in this remake of the 1922 film that made the heartthrob Rudolph Valentino into a household name. Juan, a poor boy from Seville, dreams of becoming a world-famous matador. He also dreams of marrying the beauteous Carmen Espinosa. Both wishes eventually come true but at the height of his fame, a sexy socialite seduces him away from his beloved wife.
