Description by OLDIES.com:
Fresh off the farm, young Eddie Slocum enlists in the famed 82nd Airborne Division, to follow in the footsteps of his uncle. Training for the parachute corps is grueling, but not as bad as the harsh treatment the naive country boy receives from his own squadron. Private "Rocky" Laymon is a huge brute of a man, who bullies Eddie incessantly, taking every opportunity to make the boy's life miserable. But when a training exercise turns deadly, Eddie and Rocky will be forced to work together or perish.
Beginning with The Greatest Show On Earth in 1952, young Bobby Diamond appeared uncredited in the movies, before landing the starring role in the hit television show Fury. Diamond rose to fame on the Saturday morning series, which ran for 113 episodes, from 1955-1960. He played bit parts on TV for the next two decades before earning his law degree in Los Angeles, where he currently practices. James Landis is known for directing Arch Hall, Jr. in the underground cult classics, The Sadist (1963), The Nasty Rabbit (1964) and Deadwood '76 (1965).
BONUS: 1955 episode of the Fury television show - "The 4H Episode."
