RIDE IN THE WHIRLWIND: Nicholson wrote the screenplay for this western about innocent cowboys who are forced to become fugitives when they are mistaken for stagecoach robbers. Shot concurrently with "The Shooting" in classic AIP fashion.
THE SHOOTING: A bitter young woman hires a shiftless cowboy for protection during a dangerous trip through the desert. While they travel, a mysterious bounty hunter gives silent chase, and the elements gradually begin to take their toll. An underground masterpiece in spaghetti western clothing, thick with suspense and capped off with a show-stopping plot twist. Shot concurrently with "Ride in the Whirlwind," in classic AIP style
