Description by OLDIES.com:
Beautiful Lila Lee stars in this long-lost motion picture from Chesterfield. Groomed by Paramount to replace their recalcitrant star, Gloria Swanson, Lee rose to prominence in films such as Blood and Sand (1922), Love, Live And Laugh (1929) and The Unholy Three (1930). Her son, actor/writer James Kirkwood, gained fame for writing one of Broadway's most successful musicals, A Chorus Line.
BONUS: Also includes A Romance of the Western Hills (1910) starring Mary Pickford and directed by D.W. Griffith.

Lila Lee is the adorable cheat who finds a
job as an audit clerk in her father's factory
- incognito of course. She falls in love with
her boss, a young go-getter who is everything
that her brother isn't, much to her father's
despair.
My copy was only about 44 minutes and while
some things are left up in the air - there is
no "I didn't know you were the bosses daughter,
you lied to me" moment but there is some
drama as money and jewels go missing from the
safe. All in all the film flows along and it is
easy to see why Lila Lee was such a popular
1920s star, she is a real cutie.
