Description by OLDIES.com:

Policewoman Augusta Winthrop patrols the local dance halls nightly, tossing out hooligans on their ears. Off duty, she shelters a handful of young women struggling to break free from a life of crime. Mary Sloan arrives at Augusta's door with her baby in her arms, desperate to flee her ex-boyfriend and former crime partner, the infamous "Big" Bill Lewis. Augusta agrees to help Mary, jeopardizing her own career in the process. She resolves to put an end to Lewis's villainy once and for all.

OK but edited Movie Lover: from TORONTO, ON CA -- March, 19, 2014

The movie is an OK mid-1930's B-movie with a decent second-rate cast, but 20% of the movie is missing. It's the cut-down-for-1950's TV version... cut from 68 to 56 minutes. So, it gets 2½ stars for content, but 0 stars for quality of the product.
