Product Description:
The dramatic twists in the fates of HEROES' super-powered everymen continue in this peril-packed second season. Volume two begins four months after the Emmy Award-nominated first season's explosive finale, just as the heroes are struggling, once again, to adapt to normal existence. Claire (Hayden Panettiere, ICE PRINCESS), an invincible cheerleader, and her mysterious guardian Noah (Jack Coleman) have adopted new identities and a different hometown. Peter (Milo Ventimiglia, GILMORE GIRLS), a man with the power to mimic others' paranormal abilities, his politician brother, Nathan (Adrian Pasdar, JUDGING AMY), and Matt (Greg Grunberg, ALIAS), a telepathic cop, each attempt to put the pieces of their lives together in the wake of recent sacrifices, while the omnipotent villain Sylar (Zachary Quinto) schemes to regain his evil powers. Meanwhile, the beloved Hiro (Masi Oka) uses his time-traveling abilities to seek his destiny in feudal Japan. Despite their initial separation, the beleaguered group is soon drawn back together to stop a virus that threatens the planet's safety. Expanding on season one's critically acclaimed comic-book style and multi-tiered storytelling, this chapter introduces new characters and constructs fresh, intriguing intersections for the returning cast.
