All good stuff, as sensible as a cardigan. Full Review

Rating: 3/5 -- Rather than tackle the complex truth Hosten's character presents - that feminism can mean different things to different women - we're fed a version of events that is a little too neat and tidy, as if it was all about putting Bob Hope in his place. Full Review

Misbehaviour is excellent at not pitting women against each other. The movie takes what could be easily a progressive vs. superficial women narrative and turns it into a compassionate tale of sisterhood. Full Review

Rating: 4/5 -- Far from upsetting, this is a feelgood film, in the end, that British speciality. Full Review

Rating: 3/5 -- The film's failures are ... a timely reminder that feminist filmmaking can only be effective when it's truly intersectional.

Rating: 3/5 -- A film that's often funny, often fabulous, sometimes earnest and somewhat overfilled. Full Review

Product Description:

Based on true events, Keira Knightley plays Sally Alexander, the English activist who helped found the Women's Liberation Movement in the 1970s. The group catapults to national attention when they disrupt the popular Miss World beauty pageant being held in London in 1970, when Miss Grenada candidate Jennifer Hosten (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) becomes the first Black woman to win the title. Greg Kinnear co-stars as Bob Hope who hosts the event and becomes controversial because of his sexist-tinged comedy act. Directed by Philippa Lowthorpe.
