Entertainment Reviews:
Ms. Knightley, a proven chameleon, fits right in, suppressing her British accent, showing off her skateboard moves and even dabbling in a bit of vocal fry. She makes Megan perfectly likable...

Rating: C- --
LAGGIES operates in simple binaries that state being an adult is bad and being lost in a sea of teen angst is good.

Fresh Fiction
Shelton's comedy isn't just smart, but cheerfully wise; not just funny, but cleverly and endlessly so.

Rating: 3.5/5 --

Dear Cast and Crew
As I sat through [Lynn] Shelton's latest movie, Laggies, I couldn't help feeling deflated.

The plot antics are minor, but the cast chemistry is real, and what seems like a slight indie comedy on first viewing deepens with every rewatch.

Product Description:
Lynn Shelton's LAGGIES features Keira Knightley as Megan, a woman in her late twenties who finds herself living much like she has since high school. She has no career path, she hangs with the same friends, and she's been dating her high-school sweetheart Anthony (Mark Webber) ever since their prom. One night, Megan meets Annika (Chloë Grace Moretz), a teenager who lives with her dad (Sam Rockwell), a divorce lawyer, and the two develop a friendship. When Anthony proposes to Megan, she needs a week to think it over, and moves in with Annika and her father. LAGGIES screened at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival.
