He's been making music for nigh on 50 years now and while his songs and performances are of such supreme high quality that criticism in anything more than the most localised terms is all but irrelevant, the man rarely makes a mistake or lowers the bar in his endeavours anyway. But Springsteen is also a fascinating story-teller and raconteur, indeed his in-between song patter is often an art in itself. In interview the boss can be captivating and remains one of the few musicians who actually seems to enjoy the process - certainly Bruce is regularly good natured and interested whenever we see him in such a situation.
