ENDLESS LOVE has become a solidly engaging neo-'50s romantic melodrama, a movie in which love may be endless but unstable obsession lies less in the heart of the lover than in the man who would stand in love's way.

3 stars out of 5 -- A flowerier adaptation of the Scott Spencer romance than Zeffirelli's '80s version, it's tailor-made for the Nicholas Sparks crowd.

Pettyfer and Wilde look lovely together...and they do enjoy some real chemistry throughout their flirtatious, falling-in-love stage.
