Product Description:

The ghettos of Baltimore are overrun by crime, particularly drug trade. Darrell Collins (Brandon Price), a teen growing up on these mean streets, is trying to avoid the thug life by working hard in school and going on to college. His crew, however, begin running with gangs and dealing. Darrell now must choose between these criminal connections so appealing to his friends and his girlfriend (Char Clay) or a path more straight, lonelier, but ultimately with a longer life span. This urban character study is based on a poem by Darrell Collins, a street kid who wrote about his experiences using allegorical imagery.
