Description by OLDIES.com:
As the period 1942-45 sees the massive growth in daylight bombing raids by the United States, the German fighter wings are increasingly diverted to oppose these developing new tactics in the process and with the planes themselves being continuously upgraded.
Product Description:
Although the Luftwaffe entered WWII with the strongest firepower in terms of bombing and air technology, by 1942, the massive setbacks in Russia had taken their toll. After tracing the Germans' expansion and victory between 1939 and 1942, this documentary traces the downfall of the German bombing campaign. Including operations from North Africa all the way to northern Norway, as well as the Battle of Stalingrad, the graphic archive footage also shows many of the different aircraft the Luftwaffe employed, including flying boats and float planes.
