MCLINTOCK:
George Mclintock is the owner of the largest ranch in the territory, which includes a mine and lumber mill. His wife Katherine walked out on him two years ago. Homesteaders who have the support of the government to try and push Indians onto a reservation are invading the territory he owns. Now the presence of a young hired hand who is interested romantically in Mclintock's daughter sets the stage for a sprawling comedy-western with serious overtones, part battle-of-the-sexes and part political tract.

Western documentary about the fabled film director John Ford. Movie contains narration from John Wayne, James Sterwart, and Henry Fonda. This documentary highlights the western classics, Stagecouch and The Searchers, both starring John Wayne. This film also features a special cameo from western actor Andy Devine.
